On Monday, the police cautioned that anyone who joined the parade would be treated as a psychological oppressor.

"In Katsina town, many have supported projectile injuries when the police started shooting ... and surprisingly endeavored to drive in on the Islamic focal point of the Islamic Movement," Musa said.


A few individuals were shot, meaning the loss of life could rise, he added.


Musa said police terminated nerve gas to separate parades in the capital Abuja and in the city of Bauchi.


Saleh Usman Deba, a representative for the IMN in Gombe state, said two individuals were killed while seven were injured.


"Subsequent to completing our parade, we went under assault by the police who terminated nerve gas and started shooting at our individuals," Deba said.


"Up until this point, two individuals have been killed and seven others harmed. A few group have been captured while the IMN base camp in Gombe has been fixed," he said.


Established by Muslim priest Ibrahim Zakzaky in the last part of the 1970s and roused by the Iranian Revolution, the IMN has been in constant conflict with the Nigerian experts for a really long time.
