Addis Ababa, January 17, 2022 (VOE WORLDWIDE) The Inter-Ministerial Taskforce which is set up to research basic freedoms infringement submitted with regards to the contention in northern Ethiopia has endorsed a draft activity plan for fundamental boards of trustees.
Top of the Secretariat Office of the Inter-Ministerial Taskforce, Tadesse Kassa (PhD) said that the Government of Ethiopia has embraced the report of the joint examination led by the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC) and Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) into supposed basic freedoms infringement in Tigray.
Tadesse added that the public authority likewise settled an Inter-Ministerial Taskforce on Accountability and Redress of Violations Committed to administer change and responsibility measures because of basic freedoms infringement submitted in the contention in northern Ethiopia.
Saying that four fundamental boards have been shaped under the Inter-Ministerial Taskforce, he added an activity plan that these panels will be directed by has been supported the taskforce.
